The 4-Hour Work Week

This book is a whole lot of fun to read. Timothy Ferris, the author, takes you on a wild ride where he outsources his entire life: work, business, email and even dating.

Really though the main thesis of the book is to learn how to automate what you can in your life and then to outsource the rest. Ferris introduces the idea of the mini-retirement in this book as well. This is the idea that you can design your business in way to give your self short mini-retirements each year instead of waiting until you are 65 to enjoy life.

Anyway, great book and if you have not already read it you need to go and pick up a copy right now – seriously.

After reading this book I had an oh s*** moment… This book talks about the importance of cash-flow and why you need to take a hard look at where you money comes from and where it goes.

Essentially the book tells you how rich people think and how you can think the same way to become rich yourself. It is really fascinating and something that you need to learn well and then teach it to your kids.
