I’m psyched to be going to Denver next week for the 360iDev conference.
I am toying with the idea of interviewing the developers I met there (anyone who will talk to me!). How Can We Make Our App Business Successful?
So this is the question I will be trying to answer and frankly the reason I am attending. My own apps have been relatively successful and support my modest lifestyle, but there will be people at the conference who have knocked the ball out of the park! And I want to talk to all of them or really anyone who was something to add to the conversation about being successful app developers at any level.

Question? I am completely green at programming. I understand the breakfast analogy about algorithyms. But where I am confused at is C. I dont know anybody that teaches or remembers enough of it to teach. Exactly how much C does a newb have to know to begin making apps?
Well, what you really need to know is loops, variables, if-then statements and so on. Plus, C is really the foundation of Objective-C and it really really helps to know how to use C. Generally though, you will be using it in the context of Objective-C (the object oriented programming language used in iPhone).
In my book (check out the ToolBox tab for that) I go into detail progressively: C, Objective-C and then Cocoa-Touch. C is a very common programming language and you should be able to get a lot of help with it – the trick is to really find a way to focus on what you specifically need to know for iPhone programming.
